Why Career and Technical Education Equity Council?

Join together with hundreds of ACTE members interested in equity and diversity in career and technical education. CTEEC is a national organization within the affiliation of the ACTE Administration Division.

The purposes of CTEEC are to increase effectiveness of education, promote research and strategies in education and educational equity, develop leadership, and provide advocacy for equity/diversity.

CTEEC serves as a unifying Council for all ACTE members serving special populations:

  • Displaced Homemakers
  • Single Parents
  • Teen Parents
  • Students Pursuing Nontraditional Careers
  • Economically Disadvantaged Students
  • Limited English Proficient Students
  • Students with Disabilities
