ReMerge offers a variety of services intended to address different areas of healthy lifestyles and development: emotional, social, physical, and meaningful activities. Participants are on site daily, placed in sober living housing, and monitored by the Oklahoma Department of Corrections Probation and Parole officer who conducts home visits and random drug testing.
The eighteen to twenty four month program is challenging and offers life changing opportunities for the women and their children. Upon successful completion of the program, participants are offered the opportunity to have their criminal charges dismissed.
ReMerge began as a result of collaborative efforts between 25 nonprofits , and the program remains collaborative today. Working alongside a number of community agencies has played a critical role in the program's success to date.
