Monica Marsh
Monica M. Marsh is a former Secretary of CTEEC and has also served as Past President. Monica recently retired as supervisor of Special Services for Butler Technology and Career Development Schools in Hamilton, OH and is an adjunct instructor at Ashland University, Ashland, OH. Throughout her 28+ years in education she has served as an intervention specialist, elementary principal, career coordinator for Butler County, Ohio, assistant principal and principal of D. Russell Lee Career Technology Center. Throughout Monica's career she has learned that everything she does professionally and personally must be done so in looking through an equity lens.
She, along with her twin sister, Marla M. Marsh, co-authored two curriculums which focus on Cultural Competency and Character Education. She has had the opportunity to present at various conferences across the country and has had their curriculum adopted at The Ohio State University (also their Alma Mater - BS, 1984). This course is currently being taught through Agruculture and Environmental Sciences College of Education and will become a course that all education majors will be required to take at Ohio State.
